Royal Group Hotel Xiong Zhong Branch - Kaohsiung

I had a great stay here! The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around a breeze. The room was clean and cozy, plus they offered free snacks and drinks throughout the day-ice cream and coffee were my favorites! The staff was super friendly and always greeted me with a smile.

The room was on the small side, which made it a bit tight for moving around. the surrounding area had some charm, but I did feel a little discomfort from some people lingering around at night. Just something to be aware of if you're planning to explore after dark!

The service was excellent and the rooms were extremely spacious and huge with free fresh coffee, complete sets of toiletries. Amazingly nice staff, who gave us awesome suggestions. Location: the hotel was short walk to the bus station and Kaohsiung train station, bus stop, MRT station or train station and trains.

This place suits me perfectly, offering great wi-fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and air conditioning. On my first stay, the staff helped me with restaurant recommendations, which I still remember. I highly recommend it for your stay! I'm coming back for Christmas.

Mold spotted on the bathroom ceiling was a bit off-putting, and the shower design led to water leaking onto the floor. Parking availability nearby was tricky, requiring some searching around the area.

The breakfast buffet is awesome, offering an excellent spread of delicious local and Western dishes.

The hotel is ideally located just a short two-minute walk from the Kaohsiung Train Station, making it convenient for business travelers and tourists alike. Just outside the main doors, you'll find a 24-hour convenience store and a plethora of dining options, including popular fast-food chains. The room, while a bit snug, was impeccably clean and well-maintained. I particularly appreciated the complimentary snacks and beverages available around the clock—a pleasant surprise after long work hours. The staff was friendly and accommodating; they even offered us freshly made treats that felt just like home. Not to mention, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, featuring a variety of options that catered to all tastes. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

The room was small.

The bathroom was ridiculously noisy, and I seemed like I could hear every move my neighbors made. How quaint! Not having a shower curtain, with water everywhere. I was expecting a warm welcome gift for all my troubles but just got regular treatment. Almost thought about giving a good review, but couldn't.

I had a great stay for the price I paid, especially considering the cozy room and the fantastic location just a short walk from the train stations. The staff were friendly and cute, making the experience feel more upscale.

The room was super modern and comfy. I loved being able to do laundry for free during my stay. There are great relaxation spots like the cozy lounge and 24-hour snack bar for unwinding. The only hiccup was the slight noise from the hallway, but it didn't ruin my vibe at all! 😊

The hotel's proximity to the MRT made it easy for us to explore Kaohsiung, and the comfy environment with 24-hour drinks was a nice bonus.

The Standard Quadruple Room was decent size for a family, but the bathroom was a bit cramped with only a half door. The pillows and bed were super comfy, and we loved the 24-hour snacks like ice cream. The location is a win too, just a short walk from the MRT and local eateries! Only downside was a slight cigarette smell that we managed to air out easily.

The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering fresh fruits, dim sum, and even ice cream. The room was cosy, and the bathroom was well spaced. The staff also impressed me by providing hangers for my drying clothes. Free Wi-Fi was a great bonus too!
